Usually November to February. Exact dates move with the weather every year, so each farm's own dates are on its listing.
Where is the best blueberry picking in Australia?
The largest number of farms we list is in Victoria (15 farms), then NSW with 10.
How much does blueberry picking cost?
In the last confirmed season, Blue Tier Blueberries charged $12 per kg. Blueberry Fields charged $15 per bucket, buckets provided. Blueberry Hills on Comleroy charged $30 per kg for hand-picked blueberries. Boss Berries charged $25 per 3.4 litre bucket (about 2 to 2.3kg), $50 per 10 litre bucket (about 5 to 6kg). Some charge entry per person instead of by weight, and prices move during the season.
Do you need to book?
9 of the 40 farms we list take bookings ahead of a visit. The rest are walk-in. Picking depends on the weather either way, so ring ahead or check the farm's own page before travelling.
