About Blueberry Lakes

Blueberry Lakes is a small organic blueberry farm at 489 Thompson Road in Lowlands, on Western Australia's south coast between Albany and Denmark. It has no website of its own but keeps in touch with visitors through Facebook, where it posts directions in each picking season via Lower Denmark Road, Lake Saide Road and Thompson Road.

Picking blueberries here is a summer activity, with fruit ripening through January and February. Because the season is short and depends on the weather and how the crop is ripening in a given year, the farm is best reached by phone on 08 9845 2473 before making the drive out, whether to check the property is open on a given day or to ask about current conditions. Blueberry Lakes sits in a quiet rural pocket about 35 minutes from Albany and 20 minutes from Denmark, making it a reasonable stop for visitors touring the south coast in the height of summer. Specific hours, prices and payment options are set fresh each season, so confirming these directly with the farm before travelling is recommended.
