About Bluefields Blueberries
Bluefields Blueberries is a small blueberry farm at Yass River, north of Canberra. Visitors pick their own berries on select dates in January and February, and places are limited because the farm is a small producer.
Picking is by reservation only, made through the booking system on the farm's website. The farm also offers blueberry ice cream and has toilet facilities on site. Its social media pages carry announcements, including where it sells blueberry ice cream at local markets out of season.
The farm will not open for picking in the 2026/27 summer. A very late, heavy frost in the first week of November destroyed the crop, and the owners plan to return to pick-your-own in 2027. Check the website for the 2027 booking dates before planning a trip.
