The farm's own site posted an update dated 7 June 2026 saying it is now closed for the 2026 season due to near complete crop failure. In a normal year it grows apples (including Pink Lady, Red Delicious, Bramley and Gravenstein), pears, plums, peaches, figs, citrus and blueberries for pick your own, roughly late January through June. Check the site or call ahead before visiting in case the 2027 season has resumed.
About Bilpin Springs Orchard
Bilpin Springs Orchard is a small pick your own orchard at 2550 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin, in the Blue Mountains foothills within easy reach of Sydney's north west. In a normal season it grows apples, including Pink Lady, Red Delicious and the less common Bramley cooking apple and Gravenstein, along with pears, plums, peaches, figs, citrus and blueberries, with picking generally running from late January through to June.
The orchard's own website posted an update dated 7 June 2026 stating it is now closed for the 2026 season after a near complete crop failure. Covered shoes are essential for picking when the orchard is open, visitors are asked to bring their own bags, and dogs are discouraged. The orchard also hosts educational visits for school groups.
