About Sunny Creek Organic
Sunny Creek Organic is a fruit and berry farm at Trafalgar South in Gippsland, run by Phil Rowe and Cathie Taylor over more than 30 years. The property holds over a hundred berry varieties, including around 40 kinds of raspberries in red, black, golden, pink and purple, alongside heritage collections of apples, chestnuts and other fruit and nut trees. Visitors can pick their own blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries for $20 per kilo, with a farm gate entry fee of $12 per adult and $8 per child aged 2 to 12. The season typically opens around the 1st of December and runs through to about April. During December and January, the school holiday months, the farm is open daily from 9am to 5pm, closed on Christmas Day. Outside those two months, in late November and again from February to April, it is best to call ahead to confirm someone is in attendance before visiting. Visitors are asked to bring sturdy shoes and their own containers, and a pick-your-own guide can be downloaded from the farm's website ahead of a visit.
