About Tuckerberry Hill Berry Farm
Tuckerberry Hill Berry Farm is a family run u pick berry farm at 35 Becks Road, Drysdale, on the north east slope of Murradoc Hill on the Bellarine Peninsula, with views over Port Phillip Bay. Established in 1976 by Margaret Tucker, one of Victoria's pioneering blueberry growers, it is now run by her daughter Christine and her husband David Lean, and is the only blueberry u-pick farm on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Strawberry picking runs from early November to the end of March, weekends only, 9am to 5pm, at $14 a kilo. Blueberry picking runs daily from mid December to early February, also 9am to 5pm, at $22 a kilo with a cheaper rate over 5 kilos; frozen blueberries are sold year round. Entry to pick is free and no booking is required, you simply pay for what you pick. Dogs on a lead are welcome around the property but not inside the netted berry orchard. The on-site cafe serves coffee, cake and ice cream, and a BYO picnic is welcome; produce is also sold at the Bellarine Farmgate Market on the farm's grounds. Outside the picking season the orchard itself is closed, though the cafe and market continue.
