About Buninyong Blueberry Farm

Buninyong Blueberry Farm is a pick your own blueberry farm on the Midland Highway at Buninyong, near Ballarat, entered from Innes Lane. It has been described as one of Victoria's oldest blueberry farms, established in 1982, growing several blueberry varieties on volcanic soil in the hills around Buninyong.

In past seasons, picking ran over summer, roughly January into February, with entry free and pickers charged by weight for what they picked. Visitors were given a short briefing on picking technique and provided with a bucket, then paid for their blueberries by weight on the way out. The property also has a picnic area shaded by chestnut and walnut trees.
