About Otway Blueberries
Otway Blueberries is a pesticide-free blueberry farm on Gellibrand-Carlisle Road at Gellibrand, in the Otway Ranges. It has grown blueberries since 1994 and now covers 7 hectares. Most of the fruit is sold through shops in Apollo Bay, Colac, Geelong, the Surf Coast and Melbourne, and the farm also opens its gate for visitors to pick their own.
Pick-your-own reopens in January 2027 and runs to 28 February 2027. The farm only opens the gate when the blueberries are ripe, so the start date depends on the crop. Once the season is under way it is open daily from 9am to 5pm, including public holidays, and no appointment is needed. Follow the yellow signs on the road to the farm.
Bring your own containers. Picked fruit costs $17 per kilo, or $14 per kilo if you pick more than 5 kilos. There is no entrance fee, but each adult has a minimum spend of 1 kilo. The farm accepts cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard.
Bus groups can visit, with a booking made at least two weeks ahead. The farm is a member of the Otway Harvest Trail and is under 30 minutes from the Otway Fly Treetop Walk and about an hour from Apollo Bay. Frozen blueberries are sold in season through local stockists.
