Avonsleigh Berries is a family-run blueberry and sour cherry farm in Avonsleigh in the Dandenong Ranges, established in 1980 by the Edlinger family and now run by Harald and Martine Edlinger. The farm grows its fruit without pesticides and offers pick your own blueberries and sour cherries direct from the bushes and trees. You can also pick cherries here.

Cockatoo
Blueberries: December 2026 through summer
Fielderberry Farm is a five-acre pick-your-own berry farm on Fielder Road in Cockatoo, in the Dandenong Ranges, alongside Lottie's Bed and Breakfast run by the same family. Visitors pick blueberries, raspberries and thornless blackberries straight from the bushes, with no entry fee to walk in and pick. You can also pick raspberries and blackberries here.

Dewhurst
Blueberries: Dec to Feb
Emily Hill Farm is an organic blueberry farm on Bourkes Creek Road in Dewhurst, in the Dandenong Ranges, running for more than four decades. Alongside its FarmGate shop selling packaged blueberries, limes, lemons, grapefruit, garlic and rhubarb, the farm runs a pick your own blueberry program each summer.

Olinda
Blueberries: Jan to Mar
Folly Farm Blueberries is a small, boutique blueberry grower at 192 Falls Road, Olinda, high on Mount Dandenong in the Dandenong Ranges. Planted in 1982, it was one of Victoria's first commercial blueberry plantings and grows heritage bushes alongside newer varieties without chemical sprays.

Silvan
Blueberries: early December to January
Blue Hills Berries and Cherries is a Chapman family farm at Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges, about an hour east of Melbourne. Berries follow through spring and summer: strawberries from early November through to April, blueberries in December and January, and raspberries from November into mid December and again from mid February. You can also pick cherries, strawberries and raspberries here.

In the last confirmed season, Emily Hill Farm charged $25 minimum per kg (16 years and over). Prices change during the season, so check with the farm before you travel.
4 of these farms take bookings ahead of a visit: Avonsleigh Berries, Blue Hills Berries and Cherries, Emily Hill Farm and Folly Farm Blueberries. The rest are walk-in, but picking depends on the weather, so ring ahead either way.
