Castella Blueberries is a family-owned u-pick blueberry farm at Castella in the Yarra Valley, about 15 minutes from Yarra Glen. Visitors take a bucket into the patch and pick their own berries across several varieties, paying by weight for what they pick.

Glenburn
Blueberries: Dec to Feb, $20/kg
Summerberries Blueberry Farm is a family-owned organic blueberry farm at 39 Two Hills Road, Glenburn, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range about 80 kilometres from Melbourne. Blueberries grow across 10 hectares with shady picnic ground, and because the fruit is organic, visitors can pick and eat straight off the bush without washing it first.

Silvan

The Farm Silvan is a u-pick blueberry farm at 1 Parker Road, Silvan in the Yarra Valley, with blueberries as its main crop and bushes kept at a height suited to picking with children.

Wandin East
Blueberries: Oct to May
Jay Berries is a family-run U-pick berry farm at 140 Wandin Creek Road, Wandin East, in the Yarra Valley about an hour east of Melbourne. The Stewart family has grown strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries on the property for around three decades, and also grows seasonal vegetables that visitors can pick alongside the berries. You can also pick strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and vegetables here.

Usually November to February, depending on the weather. Farms announce their own dates and we carry them on each listing.
In the last confirmed season, Summerberries Blueberry Farm charged $20 per kg. The Farm Silvan charged $16 per kg. Prices change during the season, so check with the farm before you travel.
2 of these farms take bookings ahead of a visit: Summerberries Blueberry Farm and The Farm Silvan. The rest are walk-in, but picking depends on the weather, so ring ahead either way.
