About Castella Blueberries
Castella Blueberries is a family owned u-pick blueberry farm at Castella in the Yarra Valley, about 15 minutes from Yarra Glen. Visitors take a bucket into the patch and pick their own berries across several varieties, paying by weight for what they pick. The picking season generally falls in January and February, with the farm open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. Because ripening can run earlier or later than the calendar suggests, the farm posts season updates on its Facebook and Instagram pages and asks visitors to check there before making the drive. The farm sits in the Murrindindi Shire countryside near the Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk and the Toolangi sculpture trail, making it an easy stop for a countryside day trip.
