Plump Berries is a berry farm at Barrington in Tasmania's North West, established at the end of April 2022. It grows an unusually wide range of berries and soft fruit: raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, tayberries, loganberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, alongside speciality sweet and sour cherry varieties. You can also pick raspberries and blackberries here.

Grove
Blueberries: Jan to Mar
Something from the Ground is an organic blueberry farm at 2048 Huon Highway, Grove, in the Huon Valley, established in 2009 to grow organic blueberries from scratch. Alongside selling through Hobart's Farm Gate Market and a handful of local wholefood stores and cafes, the farm opens for picking during its season.

Hillwood
Blueberries: Nov to May
Hillwood Berries is a family-run pick-your-own berry farm in the Tamar Valley, about 20 minutes north of Launceston just off the East Tamar Highway. You can also pick strawberries, raspberries and blackberries here.

Lebrina

Crestview Blueberries is a small, family-run organic blueberry farm at Lebrina in the Tamar Valley, around a 40-minute drive from Launceston. Now run by the second or third generation of the same family, it has a low-key, unfussy feel rather than being set up as a tourist attraction.

Longford

Longford Berries is a family-owned pick-your-own berry farm at 119 Bulwer Street, Longford, in Tasmania's Northern Midlands. You can also pick strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries and blackberries here.

Old Beach

Old Beach Berries is a small pick-your-own blueberry farm at 218 Old Beach Road, Old Beach, about 25 minutes from Hobart. The blueberries are grown using regenerative agriculture practices, with no herbicides or pesticides used on the property.

Romaine
Blueberries: Jan to Feb, $15/kg
Emu Valley Blueberries is a family-run blueberry farm at 43 Ellis Road, Romaine, in the Emu Valley near Burnie on Tasmania's north-west coast. Most of the crop is sold to fresh fruit grocers across the north-west, and during the summer season the farm also opens its rows for pick-your-own.

Sheffield
Blueberries: Nov to Feb
Sheffield Berry Gardens is a family farm about 4 kilometres from Sheffield, at the junction of the roads to Railton and Beulah on the way to Cradle Mountain in Tasmania's North West. The farm grows a wide range of heritage strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and cherries in the ground rather than under tunnels, without insecticide or fungicide. You can also pick strawberries, cherries, raspberries and blackberries here.

Blue Tier Blueberries is a small, family-owned and operated pick-your-own blueberry farm on the Tasman Highway just outside St Helens, on Tasmania's east coast. The fruit is grown spray-free and picking is a simple, low-key farm activity suited to all ages.
