Killiecrankie Farm at Glengarry, in the West Tamar district near Launceston, was established in 2007 as Tasmania's first pick-your-own Christmas tree farm. The farm no longer runs general open days.

Lalla
Christmas trees: Nov to Dec
Christmas Trees of Tasmania is the choose and cut Christmas tree operation run by Lalla Valley Farm, a small family farm in the hills of Lalla, about 30 minutes north of Launceston near Lilydale. Rowan and Lauren Frost bought the property in 2017 and planted their first Christmas trees in 2020, alongside the farm's garlic and prime lamb.
- Open: Selected dates in the lead up to Christmas, once the online shop opens for the season. By pre-booked timeslot only, selected when the deposit is paid

Richmond
Christmas trees: Nov to Dec
Coal Valley Christmas Trees is a family-run, cut your own Christmas tree plantation at 1 Walworth Road, just outside Richmond, growing more than 1,000 trees ranging from 1 metre up to over 3 metres tall. Visitors stroll through the plantation to choose and cut their own tree.

Christmas trees: Dec
Richmond Christmas Tree Farm is a family-owned choose and cut Christmas tree farm about five minutes north of Richmond, in the Coal River Valley, roughly 30 minutes from Hobart. The farm has been growing trees on site since 2012.

Killiecrankie Farm charged $20 farm gate pass per family as a deposit, plus the price of the tree chosen. Richmond Christmas Tree Farm charged from $55 for a 4ft tree, priced per foot of height.
