About Blue Tier Blueberries
Blue Tier Blueberries is a small, family owned and operated pick your own blueberry farm on the Tasman Highway just outside St Helens, on Tasmania's east coast. The fruit is grown spray free and picking is a simple, low key farm activity suited to all ages.
The farm is open daily from 9am to 5pm through the picking season, weather permitting, as picking stops when it is raining. Blueberries are typically ready from January through February, sometimes stretching into March depending on the crop and the weather. Pick your own fruit is priced at $12 per kilogram, and the farm also sells frozen blueberries when fresh picking is not on offer. Payment is by cash or direct deposit. As with any small farm, it is worth a quick call or a check of the farm's Facebook page before visiting to confirm the crop is still available for the day.
