About 302 Flowers

302 Flowers is a family run flower farm at the top of Mount Gisborne in the Macedon Ranges, about an hour from Melbourne. The property has been in the same family since the early 1990s and grows chemical free, bee friendly blooms across a ten acre property at 600 metres elevation, with views back toward the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay.

Pick your own dahlia bucket sessions run through summer and into autumn as the farm's dahlia fields come into flower, with the last session of the 2026 season held in early May. Exact dates are set and announced on the farm's own website as blooms open, so a session is booked in advance rather than offered as a daily walk in activity. A bucket booking costs $55 per adult, and secateurs and a bucket are supplied on site, so visitors just need to arrive and start cutting.

Contact the farm directly by phone or email to check the current picking calendar before travelling, since dates depend on how the season's blooms are progressing. The farm also grows proteas, banksias and other native flowers on the property outside the dahlia season.
