Bilpin Springs Orchard is a small pick-your-own orchard at 2550 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin, in the Blue Mountains foothills within easy reach of Sydney's north-west. You can also pick apples, pears, plums and peaches here.

Blueberries
Pine Crest Orchard is a family-run orchard on Bells Line of Road, Bilpin, behind Bilpin Public School, and has been operating for more than 40 years. Raspberries and blueberries are also grown on the property. You can also pick apples, cherries, plums and nectarines here.

Bostobrick
Blueberries: Dec to Feb
Boss Berries is a family-run pick-your-own blueberry farm on the Dorrigo Plateau at Bostobrick, inland from Coffs Harbour. The blueberries are grown spray-free, with the farm saying the only things that touch the fruit are sun, rain, birds and bugs in the orchard.

Brooklet
Blueberries: Sep to Oct, $15 per bucket, buckets provided
Blueberry Fields is a blueberry orchard at 769 Fernleigh Road, Brooklet, in the Byron hinterland, about 20 minutes from Byron Bay or Ballina. Outside pick-your-own days, fresh blueberries are sold from a farm gate stall at the property and at local farmers markets, with the fruiting season generally running from July to January.

Misty Valley Farm is a blueberry farm at Brunkerville, on the edge of Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley, run on organic, biodynamic growing principles. Visitors can pick their own blueberries during the farm's summer picking season, which generally runs through December and January.

Bucca
Blueberries: Dec to Feb, $10/kg
Bucca Valley Blueberries is a pick-your-own blueberry farm in a small valley at Bucca, in the Coffs Harbour hinterland near Nana Glen. The blueberries are grown chemical-free and are usually ready from mid December through to early February, or until the crop runs out for the season, seven days a week.

Cockwhy
Blueberries: Jan to Mar
Higgins Creek Farm is a pick-your-own blueberry farm at Cockwhy on the NSW South Coast, on the Princes Highway between Batemans Bay and Ulladulla, next to Murramurang National Park. Nine varieties of blueberries are grown across a fully netted six-acre enclosure, giving a harvest window of around three months.

The Giving Farm is a certified organic family farm at Jilliby in the Central Coast hinterland, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables and keeping a range of animals including Babydoll sheep, Highland and Guernsey cattle, dairy goats, chickens, ducks and geese. You can also pick flowers here.

Blueberry Hills on Comleroy is a 14-acre organic, chemical-free blueberry farm at 464 Comleroy Road, Kurrajong. Picking is by pre-booked online ticket only, in one hour sessions, with no walk-up picking available.

Mogood
Blueberries: December to January
Clyde River Berry Farm sits on the banks of the Clyde River at Mogood, in the Brooman State Forest on the NSW South Coast, roughly halfway between Nelligen and Ulladulla. The farm's main crop is blueberries, picked from December into January, with strawberries and blackberries sometimes available across the same window depending on the season. You can also pick strawberries and blackberries here.

Our directory lists 10 farms in NSW: Bilpin Springs Orchard (Bilpin), Blueberry Fields (Brooklet), Blueberry Hills on Comleroy (Kurrajong), Boss Berries (Bostobrick), Bucca Valley Blueberries (Bucca), Clyde River Berry Farm (Mogood) and 4 more.
Usually November to February, depending on the weather. Farms announce their own dates and we carry them on each listing.
In the last confirmed season, Blueberry Fields charged $15 per bucket, buckets provided. Blueberry Hills on Comleroy charged $30 per kg for hand-picked blueberries. Boss Berries charged $25 per 3.4 litre bucket (about 2 to 2.3kg), $50 per 10 litre bucket (about 5 to 6kg). Bucca Valley Blueberries charged $10 per kg. Prices change during the season, so check with the farm before you travel.
3 of these farms take bookings ahead of a visit: Blueberry Hills on Comleroy, Misty Valley Farm and The Giving Farm. The rest are walk-in, but picking depends on the weather, so ring ahead either way.
