The Dahlia Patch is a flower farm at 154 Old South Road, Alpine, in the Southern Highlands, growing more than 500 dahlias in a range of colours and varieties. Picking is run as a timed, pre-booked experience called Coffee and Dahlia Harvesting, held on selected Saturday mornings through the dahlia season from December to April.

Dooralong
Flowers
Horseshoe Valley Farm & Apiary is a small family farm in the Dooralong Valley on the Central Coast hinterland, growing spray-free cut flowers including dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, snapdragons and sweet peas. The farm also runs an apiary across several hinterland sites and produces single source raw honey, and raises chemical-free, grass fed meat.

Ewingsdale

Poppy & Fern is a sustainable flower farm and florist based at The Farm Byron Bay, 11 Ewingsdale Road, Ewingsdale, growing seasonal blooms free of harmful sprays. Its pick your own offering is the Private Open Flower Field Session, a guided experience run on periodically announced dates rather than open daily.

Flowers
The Giving Farm is a certified organic family farm at Jilliby in the Central Coast hinterland, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables and keeping a range of animals including Babydoll sheep, Highland and Guernsey cattle, dairy goats, chickens, ducks and geese. You can also pick blueberries here.

Kurmond
Flowers: Nov to Mar, $5 per stem
Glenbernie Family Farms is a small "slow flower" farm at 610 Bells Line of Road, Kurmond, about an hour north-west of Sydney. John and Marika Saliba started it in 2021 and grow sunflowers and other cut flowers for visitors to pick their own bunch. You can also pick sunflowers here.

Blooms and Coos is a small, spray-free you pick flower farm in the Lorne valley, about 40 minutes from Port Macquarie. Visitors are given sterilised snips and choose their own blooms from the field, then take them home in a vase with pre cut foliage included.
