About The Giving Farm
The Giving Farm is a certified organic family farm at Jilliby in the Central Coast hinterland, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables and keeping a range of animals including Babydoll sheep, Highland and Guernsey cattle, dairy goats, chickens, ducks and geese.
Blueberry picking runs from October to December, with eight varieties available to pick across the season at $12 a punnet, or $24 for a double sized punnet. Outside the blueberry season the farm also opens for pick your own flowers, including sunflowers, tulips, daffodils, ranunculi, lilies and cornflowers depending on what is in bloom at the time.
There is no entry fee, and visitors simply pay for what they pick, in cash or by EFTPOS. Pick your own sessions are run as announced events rather than daily opening hours, so booking ahead through the farm's Facebook group is required. There are no toilets on site, with the nearest public facilities about five minutes away at the Dooralong Community Hall. The Giving Farm can be reached on 0492 997 864.
