No booking needed, free entry. Buckets are supplied for picking, weighed on a scale, and payment left on an honesty basis; bring your own containers to carry berries home. The property has a dam with turtles and horses visitors can meet, and is signposted with flags along Bucca Road.
About Bucca Valley Blueberries
Bucca Valley Blueberries is a pick your own blueberry farm in a small valley at Bucca, in the Coffs Harbour hinterland near Nana Glen. The blueberries are grown chemical free and are usually ready from mid December through to early February, or until the crop runs out for the season, seven days a week. There is no need to book and entry is free. Picking works on an honesty system: visitors take a supplied bucket into the rows, fill it, weigh it on the farm's scale and leave payment for what they have picked, at ten dollars a kilo. Cash only, so visitors are asked to bring exact change. It is worth bringing your own shallow containers as well, so the fruit does not get squashed on the way home. Alongside the blueberries there is a dam with turtles and horses on the property that children can feed and pat, making it a popular family outing during the season. The farm is at 416 Bucca Road, reached by following the signs from Nana Glen, and is signposted with flags at the driveway.
