Bacchus Marsh

Naturipe Fruits runs its main pick-your-own farm on Bacchus Marsh Road, on the Avenue of Honour just outside Bacchus Marsh, west of Melbourne. Visitors pick cherries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines and apples in their own seasons. You can also pick cherries, peaches, nectarines and apples here.

Boneo
Strawberries: Sep to Apr
Hawkes Farm is a 140-acre working vegetable and strawberry farm at Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, run by the Hawkes family and fronted by a farm market that is open every day except Christmas Day.

Drysdale
Strawberries: Nov to Mar, $14 per kilo
Tuckerberry Hill Berry Farm is a family-run U-pick berry farm at 35 Becks Road, Drysdale, on the north-east slope of Murradoc Hill on the Bellarine Peninsula, with views over Port Phillip Bay. Strawberry picking runs from early November to the end of March, weekends only, 9am to 5pm, at $14 a kilo. You can also pick blueberries here.

Grantville
Strawberries: Nov to Apr
Bucks Berries is a pick-your-own berry farm on the Bass Highway at Grantville, on the Western Port side of Gippsland. It grows strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, thornless blackberries, tayberries and loganberries, plus a small selection of citrus. You can also pick raspberries, blueberries and blackberries here.

Koonoomoo
Strawberries: Apr to Jan
The Big Strawberry is a working strawberry farm on the Goulburn Valley Highway at Koonoomoo, on the Murray River in northern Victoria. It is owned and operated by Darren and Tarn Hayes.

Maffra
Strawberries: Sep to May
The Berry Dairy is a family-owned pick-your-own strawberry farm and cafe on a working dairy property just outside Maffra in Gippsland, home to around 550 dairy cows alongside more than 20,000 spray-free strawberry plants. Varieties are mostly Albion and Cabrillo, with smaller patches of Monterey and Petaluma, sourced from Toolangi Strawberry Growers.

- Entry: A Farm Pass is purchased on arrival for strawberry picking and the petting zoo, and includes a strawberry credit toward a punnet; cafe, shop, playground and dog park are free to enter

Main Ridge
Strawberries: Nov to Apr
Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm is the pick-your-own strawberry farm at Main Ridge in the Mornington Peninsula hinterland, previously known as Sunny Ridge and now back in the hands of its original owners. The farm grows more than 300,000 strawberry plants of the Albion variety, alongside blueberries, blackberries and a limited run of raspberries. You can also pick blueberries, blackberries and raspberries here.

Mount Duneed
Strawberries: Oct to Apr
Surf Coast Strawberry Fields is a pick-your-own strawberry farm on the Surf Coast Highway at Mount Duneed, between Geelong and Torquay, on a 90-acre property backing onto Thompson Creek with about nine acres planted to strawberries. The picking season runs from October or November through to late April.

Silvan
Strawberries: early November to April
Blue Hills Berries and Cherries is a Chapman family farm at Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges, about an hour east of Melbourne. Berries follow through spring and summer: strawberries from early November through to April, blueberries in December and January, and raspberries from November into mid December and again from mid February. You can also pick cherries, blueberries and raspberries here.

Timboon

Berry World is a pick-your-own strawberry farm at 26 Egan Street in Timboon, about 15 minutes inland from the Great Ocean Road. Visitors pick strawberries from the field, or buy pre-picked punnets from the farm fridge, from around October through to April.

Trafalgar South
Strawberries: Dec to Apr, $20 per kilo
Sunny Creek Organic is a fruit and berry farm at Trafalgar South in Gippsland, run by Phil Rowe and Cathie Taylor over more than 30 years. Visitors can pick their own blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries for $20 per kilo, with a farm gate entry fee of $12 per adult and $8 per child aged 2 to 12. Wallington
Strawberries: November 2026 to May 2027
Lomas Orchards is a heritage orchard at Wallington on the Bellarine Peninsula, farmed by the Lomas family since 1938 and now run by the fourth generation. The 50-acre property grows more than 32 varieties of heritage apples and pears alongside stone fruit, strawberries and vegetables.

Wandin East
Strawberries: Oct to May
Jay Berries is a family-run U-pick berry farm at 140 Wandin Creek Road, Wandin East, in the Yarra Valley about an hour east of Melbourne. The Stewart family has grown strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries on the property for around three decades, and also grows seasonal vegetables that visitors can pick alongside the berries. You can also pick raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and vegetables here.
