Allambie Orchard is a family-run cherry orchard on 63 acres in the rural village of Wombat, in the Hilltops cherry district around Young. The Hyde family has grown cherries for pick-your-own visitors here since 1998, continuing an orchard tradition on the property going back to the 1970s.

Hill-Lock Orchard is a family-owned orchard at Wombat, about ten minutes from Young in the Hilltops region of New South Wales, established in 1998. Visitors can pick their own cherries and strawberries straight from the trees and beds, and the farm shed sells pre-picked fruit and vegetables through the year, including plums, apricots, persimmons and figs. You can also pick strawberries here.

Main Range Orchard is a family-owned cherry orchard on the Olympic Highway at Wombat, in the Hilltops region near Young, run by Tim and Jess. The first trees were planted by the Wells family in 1955, and the orchard now offers pick your own cherries each summer, handpicked straight from the tree.

Drive In Orchards is a pick-your-own cherry orchard on Moppity Road at Young, in the Hilltops region of New South Wales, offering both shed sales and pick your own during the cherry season. Eastlake's Family Tree, previously known as Fairfield's Orchard, is a multi-generational cherry orchard on the Olympic Highway between Young and Wombat, in the Hilltops cherry district. The Eastlake family has worked the property since 1862.

Lynton Orchards is a family-owned orchard on Roberts Road, six kilometres south of Young in the Hilltops region, at the crossroads with the Olympic Highway. The main drawcard is pick your own cherries, picked straight from the tree through late November and into December.

Cherries: early Nov to late Dec
Top of the Hill Orchard is a family-run cherry orchard on Spring Creek Road, six kilometres from Young in the Hilltops region, best reached via Rhodes Road. The orchard grows about 3,500 trees across 17 cherry varieties and, after five years selling through a shed, now operates as a pick-your-own orchard only.

Usually November to January, depending on the weather. Farms announce their own dates and we carry them on each listing.
In the last confirmed season, Allambie Orchard charged $10 per kg. Ballinaclash Fruit & Wine charged $11 per kg, minimum 1kg per person. Wombat Heights Orchard charged per kg, ask the orchard for current rates. Prices change during the season, so check with the farm before you travel.
