About Ballinaclash Fruit & Wine

Ballinaclash Fruit & Wine is a family owned orchard, vineyard and cellar door on the Olympic Highway at Young, in the Hilltops region. During the cherry and stone fruit season the property opens its orchard rows for pick your own, alongside a farm gate shop and cellar door selling pre packed fruit, cherry pies, cherry ice cream, jams and the property's own wines with tastings available.

Cherry picking runs through November and December, with cherries priced at $11 a kilogram and a minimum of 1kg per person. Peaches and plums are also grown on the property and picked in season. Because daily capacity is limited, online booking is strongly recommended to guarantee entry rather than relying on a walk-in visit.

The Farm Gate Shop & Cellar Door trade seven days a week during cherry season, with shelter available on site. The combination of orchard, vineyard and cellar door makes this one of the more developed pick your own stops in the Young cherry district, suited to a longer visit rather than a quick pick.
