About Lynton Orchards

Lynton Orchards is a family owned orchard on Roberts Road, six kilometres south of Young in the Hilltops region, at the crossroads with the Olympic Highway. The main drawcard is pick your own cherries, picked straight from the tree through late November and into December.

No booking is needed for individuals or small groups, though larger groups are asked to call ahead so the orchard can prepare. Alongside the cherries, the farm sells Janerik plums and apricots prepacked rather than as pick your own, together with fresh seasonal vegetables such as beans, tomatoes and cucumbers, free range eggs and local honey.

The property has disabled access, and visitors are encouraged to contact the orchard directly or check its Facebook page for the latest picking updates, since opening dates depend on the season and the weather. As with the other Hilltops cherry orchards, this is a working farm rather than a cafe or cellar door destination, so it suits a straightforward picking visit.
