About Toodyay Christmas Trees

Toodyay Christmas Trees is a choose and cut Christmas tree farm at 428 Goomalling-Toodyay Road, Nunile, about an hour's drive from Perth. The Bicknell family bought the property, known as The Quarters, in late 2016 and planted their first trees in 2017. The property is a former pastoral holding of around 43 acres dating from about 1900, and the family is also restoring its historic shearers' quarters and stables and regenerating the land along Boyagerring Brook.

The farm opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm, starting the last weekend of November and running every weekend in December until Christmas or until the trees are sold out. Visitors choose and cut their own tree from the paddock, with each tree measured and priced on the day: prices run from $85 for a tree up to 4 feet through to $165 for an 8 foot tree, with larger trees priced on application. Tree stands and preservative are also sold on site. The farm takes cash or card, though it recommends bringing cash in case of card machine issues. Money raised goes toward the restoration of the historic buildings and the revegetation of the brook running through the property.
