About Grapes on Swan
Grapes on Swan is a small, family run vineyard on Swan Street in Henley Brook, off West Swan Road in the Swan Valley, about 35 minutes from Perth. It grows red and green seedless table grape varieties for visitors to pick themselves, snipping bunches straight from the vine.
The pick-your-own season runs each year from early January to early April, with the vineyard open daily from 8:30am to 4:30pm while grapes are available. There is no booking system: visitors bring their own bags or boxes and a pair of scissors or secateurs and pick as much as they like, paying by the kilo. Cash is the only accepted payment, and there is a minimum spend rather than a separate entry fee.
The property has free parking and grassed row ends that make it manageable with a pram. Past seasons have also had an ice cream vendor and a cold drinks stand on site. Outside the grape season the vineyard also sells organic honeycomb by pre order, along with figs, limes and pomegranates when available. Check the farm's Facebook page for the exact opening date each January.
