About Smashastrawb
Smashastrawb is a family run strawberry grower on Franklin Road at Smith Brook, about fifteen minutes from Manjimup in the Southern Forests region. The farm grows strawberries supplied to IGA, Woolworths, Aldi, Costco and independent stores from its packing shed in Manjimup, and has also run a pick-your-own operation on the growing property itself on weekends during the strawberry season. When pick-your-own is running, it is normally open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm, with a $5 per person entry fee (children five and under free) and $12 per box of roughly two thirds of a kilogram, picked into the farm's own boxes bought on arrival. Visitors are able to eat strawberries while picking. The farm's own website currently states that pick-your-own is closed until further notice, so anyone planning a visit for picking should check the farm's Facebook page or website for an update before travelling. Pre-packed Smashastrawb strawberries remain available through supermarkets regardless of the pick-your-own status.
