Family owned choose-and-cut fresh Christmas tree farm in the Somerset region of the Brisbane Valley, established 2020; for every tree harvested, two more are planted. Bookings are essential and session times are strictly adhered to. Fresh cut trees run 4ft to 15ft (2025 prices ranged $100 to $650 depending on size; 2026 pricing not yet confirmed). Potted trees (approx. 70cm, $49.95 in 2025) and seedlings ($28.95 in 2025) are also sold for those who want to grow their own. Tree stock is limited and sells out fast each season.
About Brisbane Valley Christmas Tree Farm
Brisbane Valley Christmas Tree Farm is a family owned and run, choose-and-cut fresh Christmas tree farm at Mount Beppo, in the Somerset region of the Brisbane Valley, about an hour from Brisbane or Ipswich. Established in 2020, the farm plants two new trees for every one harvested.
The season opens with pre-tagging from the first weekend of November, followed by the cut-and-carry harvest on weekends from late November through to late December. Visitors choose and walk through the orchard to pick their own tree, which is then cut and prepared for them to take home. Fresh cut trees are available from 4 feet up to 15 feet tall; in 2025 prices ranged from $100 for a 4 foot tree to $650 for a 15 foot tree. Potted trees in 330mm pots and seedlings are also sold for families who want to grow their own tree year on year.
The farm operates by appointment only, Friday to Sunday during the season, and is closed the rest of the week. Entry and booking tickets are free, but each ticket covers the purchase of one tree, so additional tickets are needed for more than one, and session times are strictly kept. Because tree stock is limited and sells out fast each year, booking ahead through the farm's website is recommended.
