Curlew Ridge Flower Farm is a family run, field grown flower farm at Stanmore, about five minutes from Woodford and an hour north of Brisbane. The farm opens for ticketed pick your own sessions across the season, from August through to May, closing over the winter months.
Sessions run for about two hours, commonly a morning slot from around 8.30am or 9am, with dates announced through the season and booked online via WeTeachMe. Tickets range from around $25 to $55 depending on the session, and visitors wander the field rows to hand pick their own bunch of seasonal blooms, taking home a bespoke vase of flowers. The farm also runs floral design workshops and offers private group picks.
Closed in shoes are recommended for the field rows, and bus parking is available for groups. Curlew Ridge also sells flowers by the bucket for events and weddings, with farm gate pickup or local delivery, and stocks dahlia tubers and seeds.
