About @Lenswood Pick Your Own
@Lenswood Pick Your Own is an apple orchard on Harris Road at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, about 40 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Visitors pick their own apples from the trees and pay by weight for what they take home, on top of a small entry fee.
In the 2026 season the orchard opened daily from late February to the end of May, from 9am to 4pm with last entry at 3:30pm. Entry was $8 for adults and $5 for children, with under 2s free, and apples were priced at $3.50 to $5 per kilogram. Several varieties ripen through the season, including Pink Lady, Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious. No booking is needed for walk-in visits.
There is a farm cafe serving coffee, locally made items and ice cream, plus car parking, family toilets, baby change facilities, and pram and wheelchair access. Dogs are welcome. Kids can play on tractors and in a sandpit.
Walk-in picking is closed outside the apple season, though school and out-of-school-hours care groups can book visits all year by emailing the orchard. The same owners run a separate cherry picking orchard at Birdwood, which reopens in December 2026.
