About Twyllo Flower Farm

Twyllo Flower Farm is a boutique cut flower farm on a family cattle property at 1570 Tidbinbilla Road, just outside Tharwa village on the southern edge of Canberra. Run using regenerative farming methods, the farm grows ranunculus in spring and dahlias through summer into autumn, along with zinnias, cosmos, rudbeckia, scabiosa and sunflowers. Pick your own access is offered through a small number of ticketed events held at the farm each year, rather than as a standing drop in activity. Recent events have included an evening picnic style gathering in dahlia season, where guests wander the rows to snip their own blooms alongside wood fired pizza and live music, priced from around $189 a guest. Event dates and availability change from year to year and are published on the farm's website closer to the time, so booking ahead is required and casual walk ins are not part of the model. Separately, the farm runs a shop selling pre-cut bouquets and dahlia tubers by online pre-order, for pickup on Fridays and Saturdays, but that is a florist style shop rather than pick your own. No phone number is published; enquiries go through the website's contact form or social media.
