About Sandy Rise Sunflowers

Sandy Rise Sunflowers grows a paddock of sunflowers at Suttontown, just north of Mount Gambier in the South East of South Australia. During January and February the farm opens its gates on selected days for visitors to walk out into the paddock and pick a bunch of sunflowers, with a sunflower maze planted through the patch as an added feature.

The farm has also become a popular backdrop for wedding and portrait photography. Ready made sunflower bunches are sold on open days and, outside the open season, can often be arranged by request, with bunches also appearing for sale at local Mount Gambier businesses during the season. Opening times through the season are announced on Facebook rather than following a fixed weekly schedule, so checking social media before visiting is recommended.
