About Plummers Border Valley Orchards
Plummers Border Valley Orchards is a pick your own cherry orchard at Forest Range in the Adelaide Hills, run by fifth generation grower Gavin Plummer and family. The Plummers grow around 4 hectares of cherries, ripening in time for Christmas, as part of a wider pick your own venture the family started after selling off their much larger original orchard to several buyers. Picking typically runs from December through to mid January, in line with the rest of the Adelaide Hills cherry season. The same family also runs a pick your own apple orchard nearby on Lobethal Road, Forest Range. Because opening dates, hours and pricing for the cherry block have not been published in one place and can change with the crop, contact the farm or check its Facebook page before travelling out to Forest Range to confirm it is open.
