Run by Scott and Ainsley, who bought the 100 acre property in early 2023 after 13 years farming cotton and grain, and opened to visitors in January 2024. There are no toilets on site, the nearest is at Lilyvale Oval about 3km away. Dogs are welcome on a leash
About Lilyvale Flower Farm
Lilyvale Flower Farm is a 100 acre flower property at 108 Heiligs Road in the Lilyvale Valley, about 20 minutes northwest of Toowoomba. Scott and Ainsley bought the farm in early 2023 after 13 years growing cotton and grain nearby, and switched it over to flowers, opening the first sunflower fields to visitors in January 2024 and a cut flower field in late 2024.
The two sunflower fields open to the public when in bloom, with entry priced at $15 for adults, $5 for children and $40 for a family with three or more children, cash or eftpos at the gate and no booking needed. Each field is generally in bloom for only about two weekends, and timing depends on rainfall during planting, so the farm announces opening dates on Instagram and Facebook rather than fixing them in advance. The separate cut flower field runs pick your own evenings periodically through the growing season depending on what is flowering, with tickets released online for the coming weekend.
Visitors can bring a dog on a leash, but there are no toilets on site, the nearest being at Lilyvale Oval about 3km away. Flowers attract bees and other insects, worth noting for anyone with allergies. Nearby options for food include Rosalie House, Meringandan Pub and Wild Honey Cafe.
