About Iron Creek Bay Estate

Iron Creek Bay Estate is a coastal orchard and farm stay property on the Arthur Highway at Sorell, at the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula. Formerly known as Orani, it was once a small family cherry, apricot and grape growing operation, and today is a patchwork of cherry, apricot, apple, pear and plum orchards alongside its own vineyard and farm animals.

Visitors can pick and buy their own fruit across the orchards from around mid December to late February, though the exact timing varies by fruit and the farm has not published a fixed calendar, so it is worth checking ahead. During cherry season the Iron Creek Bay Cherry Shop is open daily from 10am to 4pm.

The property also has a 5 kilometre signposted walking track through the orchards, vineyard, paddocks, waterways and beach, a farm animal feeding experience for $5 a person, and the on site ORANI restaurant, which takes bookings. Overnight farm stay accommodation is also available.
