About Christmas Tree Farm Chandlers Hill
Christmas Tree Farm Chandlers Hill is a family owned Christmas tree farm at 51 Sugarloaf Road, Chandlers Hill, about 30 minutes from Adelaide's CBD. Established in 1955, it grows Monterey pines and describes itself as the oldest farm of its kind in South Australia. Visitors can cut their own tree from the forest as a limited, hands on offering with one on one help from staff and a ride back to the car park for a small service fee, or select a tree in person for delivery to their door. The farm operates from 24 November to 23 December, with weekend hours of 9am to 6pm and weekday hours of 9am to 7pm. On site there is Santa's cottage with photo sessions, free to attend though booking ahead is recommended, along with farm animals, forest trails, a gift shop selling wreaths and decorations, and coffee and refreshments. The site is wheelchair accessible with a ramp, and pets are welcome. Card payment is accepted, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
