About The Bloom Barn Farm

The Bloom Barn is a family owned and operated flower farm on the Central Coast, about 30 minutes north of Hornsby. Each year the farm opens its sunflower fields for pick your own sessions in November and December, letting visitors walk through the blooms, take photos and cut their own stems to take home. Secateurs are provided, staff are on hand to help gather the stems into a bouquet, and complimentary tea and coffee is available on picking days. Sessions run for around three hours in the late morning and must be booked online in advance, as they fill up quickly. The farm also runs an evening Sunflower and Sunset Soiree event later in the season for a different kind of visit. There is room to spread out a picnic blanket among the flowers, making it a relaxed outing for families or couples rather than a quick stop. The Bloom Barn is located at 1154 Peats Ridge Road, Peats Ridge, and can be reached by phone or email for bookings and other enquiries. Outside the pick your own season the farm also sells fresh cut flowers.
