Pick your own bookings are essential, taken via the farm's FareHarbor booking system. The packing shed sells persimmons walk-in during harvest. Both a sweet, crunchy non-astringent Fuyu variety and astringent Nightingale and Yemon varieties (which need to be eaten very soft) are grown. Scissors and peelers are provided; bring your own bag. The farm was closed to the public at time of writing, between seasons, and states it reopens mid March 2027.

Aviani Persimmon Farm is a family run orchard at 304 Galston Road, Galston, in Sydney's Hills District about 45 minutes from the CBD. Its harvest runs from mid March to early June, with pick your own visits usually starting in April once fruit is ready. The farm grows the sweet, crunchy, non astringent Fuyu variety alongside the astringent Nightingale and Yemon varieties, which need to be very soft before eating.
Pick your own entry costs roughly $10 to $12.50 for adults and $7 to $8.50 for children, with picked fruit charged at $7.50 a kilogram. Scissors and peelers are supplied on site and visitors bring their own bag. Bookings are essential and taken online. During harvest the packing shed is open to the public daily from 8am to 4pm, including public holidays. Between seasons the farm is closed to visitors; at time of writing it stated it would reopen to the public in mid March 2027.
