About Wildhand
Wildhand is a 25 acre regenerative farm at 19 Bishop Road, Willunga Hill, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, home to Highland cattle, Valais Blacknose sheep, miniature donkeys and heritage chickens alongside a working flower patch. Its main pick your own offering is the ticketed Sunflowers and Sundaes Summer Flower Workshop, where visitors head out to pick sunflowers and other seasonal blooms before returning to the shed to make up a take home flower arrangement in a vase supplied by the farm.
The workshop also includes a drink on arrival, such as local wine or a fruit mocktail, a build your own ice cream sundae bar, and a meet and greet with the farm's Highland cows. In its 2025 season the workshop ran every Saturday from 4 January to 29 March; the farm announces each year's dates and opens bookings through its website and social media rather than keeping the field open for casual daily picking. Because sessions are ticketed and capacity limited, booking ahead is necessary rather than optional.
