About Ripe 'N' Ready Cherry Farm
Ripe 'N' Ready Cherry Farm is a 24 acre cherry orchard at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, run by two generations of the Easy family since the orchard was first planted in 1947. The farm grows more than 70 cherry varieties.
Pick your own cherries run from mid November to mid or late January, depending on the weather and the crop, with picking open daily from 9am to 5pm and last entry to the orchard at 4pm. Entry costs $25 per adult aged 15 and over and $10 per child aged 3 to 15, with children under 3 free; cherries picked are charged separately at $15 to $22 a kilogram depending on variety and season. Dogs are welcome on a leash, and the customer car park is about 500 metres in from the driveway entrance.
The farm gate also sells other seasonal produce ready picked, including blackberries, raspberries, boysenberries, marionberries, blueberries, honey and cut flowers, though these are not offered as pick your own. The farm asks visitors to contact it by email rather than phone given the volume of enquiries in season.
