About Evergreen Christmas Trees

Evergreen Christmas Trees is a family owned choose and cut Christmas tree farm at Bangholme in Melbourne's south east, about 50 minutes from the CBD, on the corner of Riverend Road and Thames Promenade.

Visitors walk through the plantation and choose their own tree, then the Evergreen team cuts it down and brings it around for pick up while you explore the farm's Enchanted Forest and other activities. Trees start at $30 for those up to 3 feet, with larger trees priced from about $10 per foot, for example around $40 for a 3 to 4 foot tree and $50 for a 4 to 5 foot tree. Tree stands are available for purchase on site.

The farm typically opens from late November to 23 December each year, or until trees sell out, with hours of 2pm to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends. Dogs are welcome as long as they stay on a leash. Contact the farm directly for the confirmed 2026 opening dates before visiting.
