About Bellevue Orchard
Bellevue Orchard is a family-run apple orchard at 544 Brown Road, Officer, on the south-eastern edge of Melbourne. The family has grown fruit here for over 70 years and has made apple juice for nearly 30, sold as Summer Snow juice alongside Trattore cider.
Each year in late summer and early autumn the orchard opens for you-pick apples. For 2027 the picking window is mid March to mid May, when visitors walk among the trees and pick apples straight from the branch. Entry is by ticket, and the orchard announces ticket sales on its social media pages ahead of the season. The 2026 harvest has finished.
The Farm Gate shop and cafe on the property serves barista coffee, house-baked apple cakes and crumble and light meals, and sells Summer Snow juice, fresh apples and local produce. On the second Saturday of the month the orchard hosts the Officer Community Market from 9.30am to 2.30pm, with the shop and cafe open from 8am. On market days, parking is by gold coin donation to the Gembrook Scouts.
